Located inside Beihai Park's south gate in Beijing. Established in 1925 to prepare and serve "Imperial Chinese Food " in the style as done for the Emporers and Empress's of the royal palace. Certainly there are many exotic dishes ( assorted slivers of camel's hump, Duck-webs,in mustard, Braised bear's paw in soy sauce ) and they are elaborately presented but the restaurant has many reviewers refering to it as an expensive tourist trap.
