Cockpit Restaurant , Essendon



This fifty year old menu is from the Cockpit restaurant at the then International airport at Essendon prior to the building of the larger Tullamarine airport in Melbourne . Dating from about 1963, the menu features such classics as: Whiting Capric, Duckling a l órange, Chicken in a  basket, Ham steak and pineapple. It was quite spectacular with international floor shows and bands.
